Chilas: In the Chilas region of Gilgit-Baltistan, an incident occurred on the Karakoram Highway where unknown individuals opened fire on a bus. This resulted in a fatal accident, claiming the lives of 8 individuals. According to the police, the firing incident took place near Hador, leading to a collision between the bus and a truck, followed by a fire on the bus.
\nDeputy Commissioner Diamer, Arif Ahmed, reported that the bus had 26 passengers at the time of the incident. Eight individuals lost their lives, and 16 others sustained injuries. According to the police, the passenger bus was traveling from Ghizer district to Rawalpindi. Emergency teams have been dispatched to the scene of the accident, as reported by Deputy Commissioner Chilas.
