\nIn the Khan Garh area of Muzaffargarh on December 8th, Ali Hassan, 7 years old, his 2.5-year-old sister Hafiza, and their 3-year-old cousin Abdullah were abducted. After registering a case of abduction, Khan Garh police were engaged in the traditional investigation. Acting on a tip from the local community on December 11th, the police arrested the suspect Bilal and successfully recovered 7-year-old Ali Hassan.
\nEven after the arrest of the suspect, the police could not find any leads on the two missing children for three days. When recovered, 7-year-old Ali Hassan regained consciousness three days later. On his identification, a joint operation was initiated to search for 2.5-year-old Hafiza and 3-year-old Abdullah.
\nSpeaking to Geo News during a special interview, the recovered child Ali Hassan said that his relative Bilal deceived him and other children by taking them on a motorcycle. Bilal, on the same Friday, slaughtered 3-year-old Abdullah with a knife and committed the murder. Then, on the day of the week, he slaughtered 2.5-year-old Hafiza and committed the murder.
\nAccording to Ali Hassan, after slaughtering both children, Bilal cooked and ate their meat. According to Bilal, he also distributed the meat at the market and gave some to the hotel owners.
\nDuring the police search operation in the Chamrowali area of the Muzaffargarh district, 3-year-old Abdullah’s body was found in a sugarcane field, along with a knife and clothes. The search for Hafiza, aged 2.5 years, has not been successful so far.
\nDPO Muzaffargarh Syed Hasnain Haider, in an interview with Geo News, stated that the search for Hafiza is ongoing, and investigations into the case are in progress. On the other hand, according to the police, the arrested suspect Bilal has not disclosed any information during the investigations yet.<\/p>\n
