Tariq Jamil’s son Asim Jamil shot dead near Khanewal

Multan: Asim Jameel, the son of renowned religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel, has lost his life due to a gunshot wound, according to the Regional Police Officer (RPO) of Multan, Sahil Chaudhry.
RPO Multan Sahil Chaudhry stated that a gunshot has struck Asim Jameel, the son of Maulana Tariq Jameel. Police have arrived at the scene, and further details are being gathered regarding this incident.
The incident has also been confirmed on Maulana Tariq Jameel’s official account. In a post on his account, Maulana Tariq Jameel mentioned that today, his son Asim Jameel has passed away in Tumbah, and this tragic death has left the environment in mourning.
Maulana Tariq Jameel requested everyone to remember his son in their prayers and hoped that Allah would grant his son a high place in Jannat ul Firdaus. Punjab Inspector General (IG) Dr. Usman Anwar has asked for a report from the RPO Multan.
According to a spokesperson for Punjab Police, IG Punjab has directed that the causes of death be determined in the light of witnesses and a forensic report. The DPO Khanewal and senior police officials are present at the scene, and witnesses have been gathered.
