London: Large protests were held today in various cities around the world, including Istanbul and London, against Israeli aggression and injustices in Gaza. These protests saw a significant number of people taking to the streets to express solidarity with the Palestinians.
In Turkey, rallies were organized against Israeli aggression, with a massive protest rally taking place in Istanbul, where thousands of people participated. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed the rally and strongly criticized the double standards of Western countries, asking why they shed tears for those who die in Ukraine but remain silent for the children of Gaza.
A similar large-scale protest took place in London, where thousands of people joined to show their solidarity with the oppressed Palestinians. British authorities imposed restrictions on protesters, preventing them from marching to the Israeli embassy.
In Indonesia, thousands of participants held Palestinian flags, condemning the intense Israeli attacks on Gaza and chanting slogans against Israel. Protests in support of Gaza took place from Ramallah in the West Bank to Hebron, Tulkarm, and Tobas.
In New Zealand, a major demonstration was held in front of the parliament, demanding an end to Israeli injustices against Palestine.
In Boston, USA, students organized a protest, with students from Harvard University and local residents participating. In New York, Jewish activists protested against Zionist injustices and in support of Palestinian rights, wearing shirts with the slogan “Not in My Name.” The New York Police arrested two hundred protesters.
In various cities across Canada, students also protested in support of Palestinian rights.
It should be noted that in the ongoing Israeli attacks that have lasted for 21 days, more than 7,326 Palestinians have been martyred, including 3,030 children and 1,726 women. According to the Ministry of Health in Gaza, 18,967 people have been injured due to Israeli bombings, including 2,000 children and 1,400 women. Additionally, 1,650 Palestinians, including 940 children, are missing.
