Islamabad: Leader of the Muslim League (N) and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has returned to the country after four years, where his plane has landed at Islamabad International Airport.
Ishaq Dar and Azam Nazir Tarar, leaders of the Pakistan Muslim League (N), have arrived to welcome him at Islamabad Airport, while Nawaz Sharif’s legal team has also reached Islamabad Airport for his return.
In a statement issued on social media regarding the return of the former Prime Minister and his father, Maryam Nawaz said, “Today may be the biggest day of my life, I am thankful to Allah, the Lord of Glory, for the pain and hardships that Nawaz Sharif endured over the past 24 years. Perhaps there is no example of it, and some of his wounds are such that they will never heal.”
She said, “All the highs that Nawaz Sharif has seen may also not come in someone else’s share. Pakistan is today witnessing another rise of Nawaz Sharif.”
To bring the leader of the Muslim League (N) Nawaz Sharif back to the country, the plane “Hope of Pakistan” departed from Dubai Airport with a delay of 1 hour and 34 minutes, at 11:04 PM.
The plane of the former Prime Minister, FZ4525, entered Pakistan’s territory near Panjgur after coming from Iran through the route of Bandar Abbas.
Upon entering Islamabad’s air radar, the traffic control welcomed Nawaz Sharif’s plane and gave the green signal for landing at the federal capital’s airport.
Along with Mian Nawaz Sharif, 148 special passengers have arrived in Pakistan on the special flight, including PML-N leaders Irfan Siddiqui, Naseer Janjua, and Dr. Adnan.
