Manshera: Former member of the National Assembly and PTI (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf) leader Ali Nawaz Awan and former Minister of State Aamir Dogar have been arrested in the Battal area of Manshera. According to ARY News, former National Assembly member Ali Nawaz Awan and former Minister of State Aamer Dogar, both associated with PTI, have been arrested in Manshera.
It is reported that PTI Tehsil Hafiz Pakhwal President Rezaullah Khan and his cousin have also been arrested. Both had taken refuge in Rezaullah’s house in Manshera, who is a former MNA (Member of National Assembly) from Manshera.
It should be noted that in recent days, the anti-corruption team had arrested PTI leader and former National Assembly member Asad Qaiser from Bani Gala, transferring him to the Bani Gala police station.
Asad Qaiser was arrested in connection with the Swabi Corruption Scandal at Gaju Khan Medical College.
PTI spokesperson had stated in a reaction that Asad Qaiser’s arrest is an attempt to undermine the transparency of the elections. The arrest of Asad Qaiser raises questions about the conduct of transparent elections.
