Kandy: In the third match of the Asia Cup held in the city of Kandy, Sri Lanka, heavy rain has led to a draw in the contest between India and Pakistan, resulting in the match being called off.
India had won the toss and chose to bat first, setting a target of 267 runs for Pakistan. However, even before the start of the match, the weather was overcast, and rain had been predicted. Earlier, on September 1st, Weather Dot Com had forecast an 84% chance of rain in Pallekele, and AccuWeather had predicted an 85% chance of rain.
