Tel Aviv: The Israeli Defense Minister has ordered a complete blockade of Gaza. According to news agency reports, following intense attacks by Hamas, Israeli Defense Minister Yuval Gantz has issued an order for a complete blockade of Gaza. According to the news agency, the Israeli Defense Minister has also ordered the cutting off of electricity to Gaza.
Furthermore, the Israeli Defense Minister has issued orders to halt the supply of food, drink, and fuel in Gaza. On the other hand, media reports suggest that Hamas fighters breached the border with Israel in the southern region on Monday, where they used tanks to destroy barriers.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health reports that the number of casualties in Gaza so far is approximately 500, with over 2,700 Palestinians injured.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Israel has also targeted a United Nations school in Gaza, where thousands of civilians, including children, were present. The United Nations has confirmed the targeting of the school.
Additionally, the United Nations states that after the war between Israel and Hamas, nearly over 123,000 people in Gaza have suffered damage to their homes and have been displaced due to fear. According to the United Nations, over 73,000 people have taken shelter in schools in Gaza.
A spokesperson for the United Nations Human Rights Office stated that before the Israeli attacks on Gaza, there were 2.3 million people residing there.
