Lahore: Model Neha Rajpoot and the son of former Governor of Punjab, the late Salman Taseer, Shahbaz Taseer, have welcomed the birth of their second son. Neha and Shahbaz Taseer got married in September 2021, and their wedding videos had gone viral on social media.Their first son was born in May 2022, and now they have welcomed their second son, named Salman Rafael Taseer, born on September 11th, as announced by Shahbaz Taseer through his tweet.He wrote, “My wife has given birth to a son, named Salman Rafael Taseer. Both mother and child are well. Please pray for me,” in a humorous tone. Shahbaz Taseer had shared a picture of the newborn on the previous day.Neha Rajpoot also shared a picture of herself, her husband, and the newborn on her Instagram story, writing, “Welcome to the world, Salman Rafael Taseer.”Neha Rajpoot started her acting career in 2016; prior to that, she was involved in modeling. She was raised in European country Ukraine, as her mother hails from there. Shahbaz Taseer’s marriage to Neha Rajpoot is his second; before that, he was married to fashion designer Maheen Ghani, with whom he has a son. Shahbaz Taseer’s former wife Maheen Ghani confirmed their divorce via a tweet in December 2019, openly discussing domestic abuse in her multiple tweets.Shahbaz Taseer is the son of the late Governor of Punjab Salman Taseer, who was assassinated in January 2011. Just seven months after his father’s murder, Shahbaz Taseer was abducted from the Gulberg area of Lahore in August 2011.Shahbaz Taseer was held captive by kidnappers in Afghanistan for almost five years, after which he was rescued in March 2016.
