Rawalpindi: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has been shifted from Adiala Jail to Attock Jail. Yesterday, the Islamabad High Court had ordered his transfer from Adiala Jail to Attock Jail in response to PTI Chairman’s request.
A police team, under tight security, took Imran Khan to Attock Jail. The convoy for transferring him included 15 police vehicles, 2 armored vehicles, and an ambulance. Sources reported that PTI Chairman Imran Khan was transferred to Attock Jail under heavy security, where he will be placed in a high-security barrack.The jail authorities have stated that PTI Chairman will be provided a barrack with no-class facilities and will be kept in the same barrack where Nawaz Sharif was held. According to sources, the process of cleaning a designated room for PTI Chairman in Attock Jail has been completed, and he will be provided with facilities in accordance with court orders.
The jail authorities have also mentioned that PTI Chairman will be given a separate room with a toilet in the jail, but no decision has been made regarding his meals. It has been reported that a servant will be appointed for PTI Chairman 24 hours a day.
